The wicked, the weird and, well, the funny are all collected at this colourful festival
that celebrates theatre that doesn't conform to your average Sunday afternoon play. For
this logo we wanted to convey the various styles and inflections of the festival while keeping
the logo ironically crisp and professional in the face of this show of off-the-cuff culture.
Orca Coaching and Consulting
Lynne Brown has a lot of character, she is a vibrant and exciting woman
and so is her brand! We worked with her to create a brand that was reflective
of her values and personality with a punchy logo and inviting colours. We've
worked with Lynne right from the start creating a logo, business card,
website and business portraits.
Wefi Surfboards
We are fortunate to work with Randy Weflen, local surfer and
craftsman of custom made red cedar surf boards. We love to
see the passion and creativity behind Wefi surfboards. We wanted thier
new brand to reflect the west coast
vibe of the owners as well as the quality materials used in making the
product without any of the redundant tree or surf imagery that often litters
brands in the sport.
Apatate Poutinerie
Apatate Poutinerie is a an up-and-coming mobile cuisine company that takes
poutine to a whole new level. With an emphasis on fresh and local ingredients,
innovative recipies and vegetarian options, the business is set to launch
in Victoria, BC this July. We strived to convey the quality and tradition
that is evident at Apatate, but also imbue it with a modern, urban style.
Cultivate Garden and Gift
Cultivate Garden and Gift is a bit of an anomaly in the gardening world:
They're excited about gardening and want to pass that on to the younger
generation. We wanted to break out of the sleepy, pastel style that is
so commonly seen in the industry and give Cultivate a sleek and
lively brand that they could use across a variety of print and web media.
Jackie-0-sweets
There aren't a lot of things in this world that are cuter than a girl
baking cupcakes. For Jackie-O-Sweets we wanted a faux-retro style that
alluded the pure, mild innocence of childhhod baking. Also, if you've ever
met the owner, she's pretty much the cutest thing on two feet.

If you're an active musician on Vancouver Island, Wilson Pascoe
is a name that you've heard more than a few times. Wilson provides both
live on-location sound and a variety of engineering services at The Soundbox
Studio.
We created a brand for Wilson that would give his clients a sense of
his unique skill set and what better way to do that than to use the
fundamental concept of sound itself?
Bluleaf Living
Bluleaf is a wholistic company that focuses on two fundamentals of living
a healthy life: nature and nutrition. In keeping with the serene nature of
Bluleaf, we created a simple and organic logo with a soft, earthy color palette
that is almost reminiscent of japanese watercolors, of which health and
nature are common themes.
Shredding Life Industries
Shredding Life is a modern company that combines it's clients' passions for
surf, skate and snow into a fluid brand that offers everything from lessons
and tours to apparel. The strong illustrative elements are offset by its
implistic form to depict a unity of all three landscapes: the ocean, the road
and the mountains.
